Dynamic Meditation, also known as Active Meditation, is a powerful meditative technique developed by Osho to help modern individuals release repressed emotions and experience deep inner silence. It is designed as an energetic process that combines movement, breathing, and emotional expression to clear the mind and awaken awareness.

The practice typically lasts for one hour and is divided into five stages:

  1. Chaotic breathing – deep, rapid, and irregular breathing to energize the body and stir inner emotions.

  2. Catharsis – expressing suppressed feelings through crying, shouting, laughing, or jumping to release inner blockages.

  3. Mantra chanting – repeating the sound “Hoo!” with full intensity to awaken life energy (kundalini).

  4. Silence – suddenly stopping all movement and observing the stillness within.

  5. Celebration – dancing and expressing joy to integrate the experience.

Dynamic Meditation transforms restlessness and tension into awareness and bliss. It is especially effective for people who find traditional, silent meditation difficult due to an overactive mind or emotional burden. Practiced regularly, it promotes emotional healing, mental clarity, and spiritual growth, helping one live with more presence, freedom, and vitality in everyday life.
